New Weekend Workshop ☆

| February 7, 2012

A workshop in photographic data management.

Are you drowning in digi-snaps?

If you’re like many people, your photographs live in multiple folders on your desktop, and are even perhaps scattered by the dozens in other places on your computer. That’s not photo fun!

The Photo Framework workshop will help make sense of the storm of photos that often overwhelms us in the digital age. This workshop touches on the most critical part of digital photography after the shoot — organizing the pictures.

Learn the basics of several common photo-management applications, including Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Bridge. Find out how metadata can save the day, and discover quick keywording techniques that turn your snapshots into searchable raw data. Whether you shoot purely for fun, or as part of your research data collection, the photo-management process is your best friend.

When: Saturday, February 11, 10:30 to 12:30
Where: Myers Media Art Studio
