The Media Advisory Group is comprised of art teachers working with new media and technology. Each has been involved with the Program in Art and Art Education here at Teachers College, and each is now teaching art in the “real” world, at levels as diverse as elementary school though high school, and at the college level. This is our conversation.
The first question to the group is:
Why teach art with computers? After all, our lives are already super-saturated with social networks and screens. What do we gain by bringing technology into the art classroom too?
Log on to theMAAG to follow the conversation and join in. Please participate. All of us benefit when we share our voices.
